Daniel Nguyen

Born on 25 December 1985 in Bregenz (Austria), Daniel Nguyen had his first piano lessons in 1993 at the Bregenz music school (Musikschule Bregenz).

From 1997 - 2005 he was Prof. Hans-Udo Kreuels' piano student at the Vorarlberg Conservatory of Music in Feldkirch (Austria).

Daniel has won the first prize at the Prima la Musica competition (on regional and federal level) several times. In 2003 he won the B?sendorfer Competition and thus obtained a B?sendorfer scholarship.

The versatile young musician has already participated as a singer in numerous West Austrian Musical Company (WAMCO) productions, such as "Jesus Christ Superstar". 

Since 2005 he has been a member of the Bregenz Festival Choir as well as the Vienna University Choir and since August 2007 he has been singing in an a capella ensemble called a-Capulco (http://www.a-capulco.de). He has already performed in Germany, Switzerland and Peru amongst others.

Recently, he was musical director and pianist at the Vienna Schubert Theatre in "My Way - The True Story of Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner" (under the stage direction of Simon Meusburger).

Furthermore, he is studying medicine at Vienna Medical University. 

Daniel feels at home with classical, jazz and pop music alike and distinguishes himself through his unique musical interpretation.
